Julie and Lou Lentine, owners of Lentine Marine, host the Market and have strived to make it very affordable for vendors to participate. Boat owners wanting to sell their own boats can sell them for just a dollar a foot. And vendor's space is only $25 for a ten-foot by ten-foot space, far below the price charged at other area flea markets. Most vendors have been very positive about making this a regular routine, and many said they were both pleased and surprised by how well they did.

Larry Hill, of Ft. Pierce, has been doing marine flea markets for 15 years. He said that he "did this morning what I thought I might do all weekend. I'm definitely coming back!" Mike Harris, of Stuart, said that "I appreciate the hospitality of the Lentines and their beautiful facility." I think this is a great idea, they'll be slammed here in the future!" Richie Karol, also of Stuart, had a booth featuring fishing tackle. He, too had a good day, and said that he'll be back for the next show.

Treasure hunters and shoppers will find a wide selection of merchandise for sale, everything from new and pre-owned boats, huge selection of parts and accessories, new and used outboard engines, fishing and dive gear, electronics, antiques, marine equipment, nautical art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, tackle, men's and women's fishing apparel, music and so much more. Another feature at the April 3rd event will be the Big Red Bus for a blood drive in the memory of John Sweeney, who as owner of John B's Fly and Light Tackle was a beloved fixture of the Treasure Coast boating community. "We want to give top priority to our local merchants and groups." says Julie, keeping with the Lentine's commitment to the community.

Saturday, December 5th, from 8am to 3pm, is the date for the next Nautical Marine Flea Market and Boat Show. Free parking Free admission, rain or shine. Anyone interested in reserving space for this show should call Julie Lentine at 772-221-3777. Said Julie, "There are very few spaces left for availability. If past events are any indication, we expect to sell out of vendor space, despite that we have tripled the amount of space offered since our first one in December." Don't miss this great, fun exciting event for the whole family!
